My First Ever Traveling Outside my Country: Italy; The Land of Mysteries

One of the unforgettable trips in my life is definitely the one in Italy. I’ve always been dreaming of visiting this wonderful country since my childhood. I’ve read a lot about its beautiful cities, monuments and food. while flying, I was wondering if It was as I expected. The first time I put my foot on an Italian place, it was in Milan, the capital city of fashion and arts. It was really a wonderful city with all its fantastic views and sites like Piazza del Duomo and other amazing sites.

Piazza del Duomo; The biggest cathedral in the center of Milan.

From Milan I went to Rome, the capital city and the cradle of the ancient Roman civilization. For me Rome is not just a city, it is a portrait that fascinates visitors from all around the world. it is a cozy city where you never feel lonely. it is a city of joy, merriment and arts. it has got so many wonderful historical sites that you need a hole life to discover them one by one. Actually, it is a city where you never feel bored.

The Trevi Fountain; designed by the Italian architect Nicola Salvi

The Coliseum; The Roman famous amphitheater.

Then came the most beautiful one, Venice; the floating city, a wonderful city built on 118 islands in the middle of the Venetian Lagoon at the head of the Adriatic Sea in Northern Italy, the city is famous of its canals and bridges that links all the islands making an iconic city.

Venice; The charming city

The fourth city was Florence; the cradle of the renaissance, and the hometown of the great painter Leonardo da Vinci. when you visit Florence you feel as you are in a heaven place. Its unique architectural churches and cathedrals made of it an angelic place.

I had the chance to visit other cities and sites such as Pisa and Genoa. I will later talk in detail about them and all the places and monuments I could see.
